Kevin Meng,
CPA, CA
Principal
Kevin is a principal at the firm and has more than 25 years of accounting, auditing and tax experience. His client service focus includes public companies, owner managed businesses and not-for- profit organizations with specialized industry experience in oil and gas, international trade, wholesale and retail, manufacturing, commercial/residential leasing, and technology.
Kevin moved to Canada in 2002 after working in China for ten years as a CPA. He then obtained his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Concordia University in Montreal. Kevin moved to Calgary in 2006 where he completed his articling and become a Chartered Accountant in 2010. Kevin has also completed CPA Canada’s three year In- Depth Tax program in 2017.
After working at a national firm as a manager for eight years, he started his own practice in 2011. Today he is providing services to a broad range of clients including small and medium businesses across a variety of industries. Kevin’s professional passion is helping clients succeed by providing a broad range of professional services and expertise.
Kevin was also a Certified Public Accountant (“CPA”) in China and is proficient with both Canadian and Chinese GAAP and International Financial Reporting Standards (“IFRS”). His clientele includes a large portion of Chinese invested companies with operations in Canada. He has extensive experiences dealing with these companies and their parent companies in China and Chinese auditors while maintaining quality professional services for the subsidiaries in Canada.
Shannon Erno,
CPA, CA
Senior Manager
Shannon has been in public practice for over 12 years and has a wide range of experience in accounting, audit and tax for a variety of businesses that include public companies, owner-managed businesses and not-for-profit organizations. She has experience in several different industries that include oil and gas, construction, technology, professional services, medical, retail and a variety of charitable and not-for-profit organizations.
Shannon graduated from the University of Calgary in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a Concentration in Applied Energy Economics. She earned her CA designation in 2010 and placed on the National Honour Roll as one of the top 50 writers in all of Canada and was a recipient of the ICAA’s Winspear Medal of Excellence.
Shannon enjoys volunteering in the community and was on the board of the Alberta Pet Essential Treatment Society from 2010 to 2012 and currently is on the board of the Hawkwood Community Association where she is in charge of running the community soccer program.
Clark Yu,
BCom
Senior Accountant
Clark joined the firm in 2012 bringing with him a wide range of knowledge and expertise. He has more than 20 years of accounting, finance and tax experiences for a variety of businesses that include public companies, owner-managed businesses and not-for-profit organizations. He has experience in several different industries that include oil and gas, professional services, retail, hospitality and e-commerce.
Clark has been well-received by our clients due to his patience, knowledge, accessibility and immediate responses whenever clients have questions.
Merissa Greer,

Accounting Technician
Merissa joined the firm in 2021 as our first CPA Student Accountant. She is currently enrolled in the CPA PEP program and is working towards achieving her CPA designation. Her background includes 8+ years in operations management of small business, where she realized her interest in accounting and her desire to help business owners achieve their goals. She prides herself in providing conscientious & supportive customer service.
Merissa volunteers as a writer for Ethical Entrepreneur magazine. She enjoys researching and sharing sustainable business innovations and championing environmental causes.
